Andromeda

Andromeda

Andromeda has been my biggest art project of 2019 thus far. The piece is inspired by my love for space, mountains, and a bit of my own imagination. For this particular piece, I used acrylic on canvas while using pallet knives, brushes, and sponges to make colorful marks. I decided to use a purple-yellow color way due to its smooth feel on white backgrounds. I used black as an accent color to catch the viewers’ eyes on specific parts of the canvas.

The bottom half of the piece reflects two adjacent mountains with streaks of purple, green, white, and black. Unlike the rigid bottom half of the piece, I went with a creamy, cloud-like feel for the sky.

Koosha Azim Art

Although Andromeda may be my favorite work so far, I suggest checking out my other artworks. Personally, I find inspiration from Jackson Pollock and Pablo Picasso for their riveting abstract artworks.
